About · since 2016

A church with a clear path.

Silhouetted hands raised against a warm amber glow

Our story

Waymark began in 2016 in a rented classroom with nineteen people, a borrowed keyboard and a simple question: what if every person who walked in knew exactly what their next step was?

Since then we have grown into a few hundred people across two Sunday gatherings and dozens of small groups. The shape has not changed. We help people show up, find a family, grow in faith, serve their neighbors and go where God sends them.

We believe the church is not a show or a brand. It is a people on a road together, and every person on it matters.

Our values

What we hold to.

  1. Come as you are
  2. Tell the truth
  3. Take the next step
  4. Give yourself away
  5. Send people out

What we believe

Plain words about our faith.

  • The Bible

We believe the Bible is God's word, our final authority for what we believe and how we live.

  • Jesus

We believe Jesus is fully God and fully man, that he died for our sins, rose bodily, and will return.

  • Grace

We believe we are saved by grace through faith, not by anything we do.

  • The Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, makes us more like Jesus, and equips the church.

  • The church

We believe the local church is God's plan for his people: baptism, communion, community, and mission.

  • Hope

We believe God is making all things new and that we get to live that hope now.

Our team
